Chai Nayak was our second real estate agent at the time we were looking for our home.  We were frustrated with what had been shown to us and frankly exhausted from all the personal leg work involved in our search.  We came across Chai when he helped our friend purchase his home.  Our friend had limited time and was moving from overseas.  We saw Chai work around the clock on our friend’s schedule and get him the home he wanted.  We then came to Chai with our predicament.  Chai worked with both my husband and I to really understand what we were looking for in our home and what will fit in our budget.  He made himself available for all discussions and provided us with extensive market analysis for each property of interest.  Chai is an ideal agent because he understands both the emotional and practical issues when buying a home. Selling our first home should of been a stressful and emotional experience, but when we were dealing with Chai (who actually helped us buy and managed the sale of our first family home) it was absolutely smooth and stress free. We were pretty much frustrated first time home buyers in the Toronto real estate market where bidding wars and a 10% annual increase in price is such a common thing. You think twice and the property is gone or you enter a bidding war or your next potential property is 10-20K more expensive. Chai is so full of energy and that energy motivated and helped us make the right decision quickly.

His communication style and personality is very professional & pleasing and that is what probably what made a difference. One more thing about Chai that I personally admire a lot is when he says "I work for you and I will do what you say", he means it. Chai first understands your family and your requirements of buying a house and filters potential properties accordingly.  Because of Chai we ended up negotiating the house value down by 3-4%, 3.5% for first time buyers is a huge deal, he knows how to talk and he does it very well and at that right place and time, which did wonders for us.

Chai doesn't play any sick tricks of locking the buyer down for 6 months by signing a contract document. We lost a property to a bidding war and I liked the way he conducted the entire process. He did not pressure us, he was very genuine and big hearted by letting us choose him only for that that property on that day. I have yet to find a second agent who would do this. He guided us through the entire process and he has good contacts for everything, such as: mortgage brokers; lawyers; home inspectors ; contractors etc…

Chai has a great sense of humor, he is very friendly and great family guy. He loves his family and loves talking about them. We will certainly miss those fun filled conversations and his beautiful car ride. Without second thought I would LOVE to recommend Chai to anyone who wants to buy/sell a property.

Selling your house and buying a new one, or buying for the first time, can be overwhelming and frightening. Chai Nayak has been there for us in both situations.
